Today we began class off with a bellringer about our parents. This was probably the most interesting bellringer so far because no one never asks me are my parents strict or not. As class continued, we went on to talk about rhetoric in place. I was amuse as to how places can symbolize and mean many different things. We talked about Lincoln Memorial and how it symbolized freedom. Another thing we talked about was Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and how it symbolizes Brazil. After all of that, we watched a video on former President George W. Bush and how he responded to the attack on American homeland. The speech was powerful because he took it from the Oval Office, where every president go to talk about a national disaster.
